New Investment Program Underway

C-Tech’s 2010 investment program has begun with the arrival of the latest Vantage ERF series reflow oven.

The new ERF series has the flexibility required for varying production demands and represents the next generation of high performance lead free convection technology.

Its innovative design ensures uniform heat transfer with exceptional zone to zone separation. The comprehensive flux management system also reduces emissions normally associated with flux vapour, ensuring a much cleaner overall process.

The arrival of the reflow oven marks the beginning of a three stage investment program, which will also see the arrival of another C5 Contacts SMT machine and the installation of a fully automatic inline screen printer.

C-Tech Increases Placement Capacity

C-Tech is proud to announce their latest addition in Contact Systems placement machines with the new C5-8128C. The C5, purchased from Contax, was presented to C-Tech at the National Electronics Week.

The speed, placement flexibility and accuracy given by the C5 provides us with a significant platform to extend our existing quality service, providing a tailored production solution to suit our customers needs, be it free-issue or volume SMT, through to fully procured assembly.

New to the Team

C-Tech continues to invest in staff and training with the latest addition to their front-end engineering team. Les Fitzgerald joins us as the Senior Estimator, to further enhance our quoting process. Les will be responsible for checking all BOMs for quotation, ensuring the best procurement options and that all job queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively before beginning any new assembly.

Les has an extensive background in this role and joins us at an exciting time for the company

Mayoral Visit

Its been 5 years since the doors were opened to C-Tech's purpose-built factory, Worthing Mayor Councilor Heather Mercer was invited to tour the facilities and met with staff to mark the occasion.

When asked on her impressions, the Mayor was "Very impressed with the positive and innovative approach C-Tech displays towards business and staff welfare."

Managing Director Helen Donnelly was delighted with the Mayor's interest in the company's success, "We have a very dedicated and experienced team who truly are our best asset."
