New Pick n Place + Stencil Printing
Helen Donnelly, Managing Director of C-Tech Electronics, commented “after experiencing very challenging business conditions during 2009, we still felt confident enough to commit to a very significant investment program, which will further underpin our reputation as a leading contract manufacturing company.
Our latest round of investment has seen the arrival of a second Contacts C5 placement machine plus a Speedprint Stencil Printer from Blakell Europlacer and a Vantage ERF oven.
Drawing on our very positive experience of buying a Contacts C5 back in June 2008, we took the decision in late 2009 to buy another one. This time we opted for a machine which has a different but complimentary feeder configuration to our first C5 but more significantly, we also decided to place both machines inline, along with our new Stencil Printer/Oven and conveyer/stacker system to form a fully automated line.

New Investment Program Underway
C-Tech’s 2010 investment program has begun with the arrival of the latest Vantage ERFseries reflow oven.
The new ERF series has the flexibility required for varying production demands and represents the next generation of high performance lead free convection technology.
Its innovative design ensures uniform heat transfer with exceptional zone to zone separation. The comprehensive flux management system also reduces emissions normally associated with flux vapour, ensuring a much cleaner overall process.
The arrival of the reflow oven marks the beginning of a three stage investment program, which will also see the arrival of another C5 Contacts SMT machine and the installation of a fully automatic inline screen printer.
Helen Donnelly (Managing Director) - Commented: The arrival of our new equipment represents a significant investment on our part and truly underpins C-Tech’s commitment to providing high quality contract manufacturing services.

Well Done Gary !!!!!!
Gary Rice received a £100 holiday voucher, in recognition of passing his first year exams. He is currently studying on a day release program at Northbrook College and passed his BTEC HNC Engineering (Electronics) Year 1, with 1 pass and 4 merits.
Helen Donnelly – Managing Director commented – We are very proud of what Gary has achieved this year and as a result of this, we felt it was important to show him how pleased we are with his progress and hopefully the voucher will contribute to a well earned holiday.
Gary is one of two people that we are currently supporting through college and hopefully this will continue all the way to degree level.
As a local employer, we are totally committed to providing our employees with the opportunity and skills to develop and grow within our business. The fact that Gary is universally liked within our company for his pleasant attitude and hard work, truly underpins our decision to invest in local young people.
